Availability

No, we have availability in both our Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Staff and Training

We maintain a full management staff covering clinical, maintenance, life enrichment (activities), sales, and overall operations. My clinical director and assistant both are RN’s. All staff have 40 hours of online training experience or not and one on one shadowing as well. Our healthcare management team is responsible for training and development of caregiving staff both at onset and ongoing training required and added as needed. We also, seek out and hire Certified caregivers.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have an effective elopement policy as well as a digital security system that alerts staff to possible elopement. We also provide visual checks for residents in both assisted living and Memory care and have standards by which those checks are to be performed and can add additional checks if needed for the resident or family’s peace of mind. Residents also have a call button system we call a pendant, and our standard is they are to be checked on within 5 minutes of activation.

Transition Support

We have some partnerships for financial and moving services but do not provide those services directly. We do however utilize our Life Enrichment staff and ambassador residents to help new residents acclimate to our community.

Transportation Services

Yes, we have a handicap accessible van and we provide transport to medical appointments and group outings.

Dining Experience

We have restaurant style dining. Our dining room is open from 7am to 7pm and residents are welcome to come for their meals on their timeline (we do monitor and give reminders). We also do daily specials at lunch and dinner and have an anytime menu if they do not care for the special. We try to ensure that residents are not served the same entrée within a 30 day period.

Handling Complaints and Issues

Our management team is on site and are available for direct support. We also have grievance forms or comment forms available to residents and families for review and resolution. Our owners/management company is local as well and are available to appeal and or take consideration of any disputes or problems.

Cost of Living

Just like all assisted living and memory care our residents can expect to pay $4500-$7500 per person per month depending on the level of care they receive.

Communication with Families

Our Director will communicate ongoing operation items to families, usually via email. Clinical issues are operated through our two nurses. They also will conduct care conferences for any decline related issues and or levels of care changes. Day to day culture issues is addressed by our Life Enrichment Director. As stated, before a full list of community management and our Highmark management team contacts are available to all residents and families.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Yes, we do both assisted living and memory care respite for 3 days to 30 days. Assisted is $200/daily, and Memory Care is $250 daily and is all-inclusive. (Respites will need to qualify for care similar to a permanent move in)

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we allow pets and in fact we have a Pet Spa in our Siena Hills location.

Vaccinations

Yes, our healthcare team will schedule injection clinics as needed for the community. We will transport to a local injection site as well if needed for residents if the clinic in house is not sufficient.

Aging in Place

Yes, we will do everything on our end to provide residents with end-of-life care and will partner with the other healthcare providers (Hospice, etc.) to ensure a resident would not have to move out of the community. All of those are a case by case basis.
