Overview of Staff Professionals and Training
Each staff member has education/training required for their department. We conduct monthly Inservice trainings for staff as well as additional annual training specific to their job responsibilities.
Measures for Resident Safety and Well-being
The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority. Many safety measures are in place across all levels of care to ensure a high quality of life.
Resources and Support Services for Transition into the Community
We have Social Workers on staff who can work with residents and families to support a smooth transition.
Transportation Services for Residents
Yes, we have a fleet of vehicles that can be reserved at a cost for various transportation needs.
Dining Experience
This depends on the level of care, but we have two restaurants on campus and beautiful dining rooms for residents at all levels offering delicious and nutritious food choices.
Resident Complaint or Issue Process
Residents can file a grievance with the Social Worker who will document and investigate the issue.
Communication with Resident's Families
This varies by level of care. In Residential Living, residents are independent, so staff generally do not report to family unless there is a concern. In Personal Care and Healthcare, regular communications with family occur via care meetings. Family involvement is always encouraged.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays in our Personal Care units. Costs vary by campus, with a studio apartment at The Willows typically costing $269/day. Prices are generally higher at Souderton Mennonite or Dock Woods.
Pet-Friendly Policy
We are pet-friendly only in our Residential (Independent) Living cottages and villas. Residents are allowed one pet only.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Availability of Covid and flu vaccinations depends on the level of care. Residential residents use their own PCPs, while those in Personal Care and Healthcare have arrangements dependent on individual needs.
Aging in Place Policy
Residents can age in place as long as it is deemed safe by staff. If you are inquiring on behalf of someone, please specify whether they are looking for Residential (Independent) Living or Personal Care, as the wait list times, pricing, and general information differ. I'll share information on Residential (Independent) Living by way of a brochure, Pricing Guide, and Refund Schedule. If you are looking for Personal Care information, please let me know.
Wait List for Residential (Independent) Living
Wait list times vary depending on the size/style of accommodation. If you know which style of accommodation is of interest (e.g., apartment, cottage, villa), please provide that information.
