Deer Creek has LVN/RN nursing staff, Certified Medication and Certified Nurses Aides. Our staff undergoes rigorous training to ensure they meet the high standards required to care for our residents.

Transition Support Services

We have a fantastic Activity Director that engages with our residents and encourages them to participate in activities and gets to know their possible likes and dislikes.

Yes, for necessary medical appointments as available.

Dining Experience

We offer three meals and two snacks per day. Menus are posted daily. Residents are encouraged to eat in the dining room but we also honor resident requests to eat in their rooms.

We have a formal grievance process.

Cost of Living

We have Medicaid pending beds available or residents can come in private pay. Private pay rates are currently $251.00 per day for a full private and $181.50 per day for a shared room.

Communication with Residents' Families

We do Care Conference with families quarterly and then as needed. We also do regular emails with families.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer both. The cost is $251.00 per day.

Pet Policy

We do not allow pets to live in the community but they can come visit.

Vaccination Services

Yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Absolutely, residents are able to age in place.

A little about us

We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community located in the heart of the Hill Country. We are the only skilled nursing community in Wimberley and while the building has been here for many years, the ownership and leadership of the building is a little over a year old.

Our leadership has worked hard to build an amazing team and provide the best care possible. We are proud to say that we are 95% staffed by our own employees and use minimal contract agency employees. We offer short-term skilled therapy stays, respite and long-term care. We also offer Medicaid pending placement as long as the potential resident meets all criteria and is able to provide all needed documents prior to admission.
