Overview of Staff and Training

Our facility is staffed with a range of professionals who are all required to undergo mandatory orientation and training specifically tailored to caring for the elderly. Our team includes caregivers, a caregiver supervisor, medication technicians (med techs), an activity director, housekeepers, dietary staff, maintenance personnel, and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for our Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) Program participants. We pride ourselves on having several long-term staff members, some of whom have been with us for 35 years. Additionally, we offer in-service training sessions throughout the month on various topics such as dementia care, grief, dignity, dehydration, and skin integrity.

Resident Safety and Well-being

We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents through 24/7 supervision and a call light system in each room and bathroom. Our caregivers regularly make rounds to monitor their assigned residents.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is restaurant-style with two residents per table. The dietary staff serves meals and brings them to the table. We provide a set menu but also offer alternative options.

Resident Concerns and Complaints

Residents can voice their concerns during the Resident Council Meeting with head supervisors or directly to the administrator through an open-door policy. We encourage residents to speak to head departments for any questions, comments, or concerns they may have.

Communication with Families

We maintain communication with the resident's primary care physician (PCP) and responsible party in the event of a change in the resident's condition.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays. For more details on the cost, please refer to the attached information.

Pet Policy

While we were previously a pet-friendly community, due to unfortunate experiences, we can no longer accommodate pets as residents. However, well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome to visit.

Availability and Waitlist

Currently, we do not have a waitlist for our general area, where we offer both shared and private rooms. However, there is a waitlist for our non-locked Memory Care Wing.
