Overview of Professional Staff and Training

We are a licensed Florida ALF (Assisted Living Facility) and the Administrator is certified in core training requirements. Our 24-hour nursing team is comprised of an RN, LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs, and Caregivers. All employees in every department are required to pass regular Relias healthcare workforce training testing.

Safety and Well-being Measures

The safety and well-being of our residents is a core mission statement. In addition to staff certifications, there are security cameras throughout the premises as well as smoke detectors, sprinkler system, and emergency pull cords in every apartment. A life alert pendant is available to residents receiving assisted living care from us. All building entry doors are locked and can only be opened by residents with issued keys. To gain access, visitors must enter through the front door where they are met by a concierge.

Resources and Support for New Residents

We have Resident Ambassadors who visit new residents to welcome them to our community. They also bring a packet with them that lists information about amenities, dining hours, procedures and a list of important phone numbers. Our Housekeeping Director also stops by to introduce herself and let the new resident know what day and time a housekeeper will clean the apartment. If the new resident will be receiving assistance, the Director of Nursing and nursing staff will meet with the new resident. The marketing team ensures that new residents are welcomed in with a gift bag and visits the apartment to make sure the new resident is satisfied.

Transportation Services

Yes, for personal doctor's appointments as well as group excursions.

Dining Experience

Our residents enjoy chef prepared meals three times a day that include a variety of breakfast items, two specials for lunch and two specials for dinner to choose from, with homemade soup, salad and dessert all included in the rent. There are also several items available every day to choose from if the resident does not want one of the specials, including sandwiches, burgers and salads all served up by a friendly waitstaff.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Our Executive Director and Office Manager are located by the lobby and their door is always open if a resident has a complaint or issue. There is also a resident council that meets once a month with the management team that all residents are invited to attend. This meeting is a good time to discuss any issues.

Cost of Living

Please see the attached rate card. Rent includes everything except assistance.

Communication with Residents' Families

HIPPA standards restrict us from discussing health issues with individuals who are not authorized by the resident. General communication about a resident is welcome. We often share a resident’s activities, experiences, and photos with loved ones. Family and friend events are held often throughout the year.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer short-term or respite stays.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

During the pandemic, we arranged for Covid vaccinations but no longer provide that service. However, we still arrange periodic flu shots. We currently have a waitlist, but we typically have a few apartments become available each month. We contact our waitlist first and give them preference but if they pass on any of the apartments, we make them available. I have a couple of available apartments now.
