Overview of Staff and Training

At our facility, we have a diverse team of professionals including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are responsible for the medical care of residents. This team is supervised by a Director of Nursing (DON), an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), a Medical Director, and a Nurse Practitioner. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) handle the Activities of Daily Living for the residents.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

To ensure resident safety, especially for those at risk of falling, we use alarm pads to alert staff if a resident attempts to stand or exit their bed. A staff member is always present in common areas to monitor residents. Rooms are equipped with call bell systems for residents to request assistance. Additionally, we offer a healthy activity program throughout the day to keep residents engaged and active.

Transition Support for Residents

Our staff is dedicated to aiding residents’ transition into our community. We conduct assessments upon admission, carried out by our nursing and activity staff, to better understand each resident's unique needs and facilitate a smoother transition.

Transportation Services

We provide transportation for doctor appointments and organize a few outings a year as part of our activity offerings.

Dining Experience

Residents have the option to dine in our dining room or enjoy meals in their rooms if preferred. Social dining is encouraged for its positive impact. We cater to a variety of diets and our dietary staff, headed by a Dietary Manager, prepares delicious meals. We also gather information about food preferences and offer a substitute menu.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

Our Administrators, who are also the owners, are readily available to address any issues or complaints. A formal complaint process is posted within the facility. Our aim is to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Communication with Families

Our nursing staff maintains open communication with family members via phone or during visits, especially regarding significant health or medication changes. Families are welcome to call for updates, and we facilitate communication through cordless phones and FaceTime using an iPad.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays ranging from 1 to 30 days, costing $320.00 per day. For stays longer than 30 days, a full admission is required with standard rates.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Pets are welcome to visit the facility, provided vaccination records are submitted to the Activities Department on their first visit.

Availability and Vaccinations

Currently, we have available beds and are accepting admissions. We provide Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Our facility supports residents in aging in place, with admissions open for new residents.
