Overview of Staff and Training

Our facility is not an assisted living community and does not provide care. However, we have a 24/7 Concierge team trained for emergencies, bad weather, fire drills, etc. They are also trained to respond to Emergency pendant activations and are well-versed in the necessary procedures. Additionally, they are responsible for checking everyone in at the front desk.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

We have an experienced Maintenance Director who has compiled several safety manuals detailing emergency procedures. These manuals are included in the welcome binder given to residents upon move-in. We take extra precautions during adverse weather conditions and notify residents of any changes for their safety.

Transition Support Services

We offer Texas Discovery at Home, Legacy Healthcare on-site therapy, and partner with private duty agencies to support residents' transition into our community.

Transportation Services

Transportation services are available for residents 5 times a week.

Dining Experience

Our dining service offers anytime dining, including a breakfast buffet from 7-10am, a lunch buffet and plated service until 3PM, and a dinner buffet from 4-6. We provide two menus, with tableside service for special orders. There is no assigned seating, creating a restaurant-like experience.

Our Executive Director, Christina Ciotta, is always available to listen to residents' concerns and feedback.

We encourage prospective residents to visit us or take a virtual tour to understand the value we offer before discussing pricing.

Communication with Residents' Families

As an Independent Living community, we typically do not contact families unless necessary. We offer Personal Help buttons and perform daily check-ins, and will reach out if there are concerns about a resident's well-being.

We do not offer short-term or respite stays.

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community with a dog park, though we have rules regarding pets.

Vaccinations

Residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place with the services mentioned, but if it becomes apparent they are not thriving or getting the necessary help, we will discuss other options. We also offer a waitlist for future residents.
