At our facility, we have a dedicated team comprising medication technicians, resident aides, and two Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). Each member of our staff undergoes comprehensive training to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Our medication technicians receive specialized training in medication administration, ensuring that they can safely and accurately dispense medications according to prescribed regimens. They undergo rigorous instruction in medication safety protocols and procedures to prevent errors and promote resident well-being.

Similarly, our resident aides undergo thorough training to assist residents with their daily activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and emotional support. They receive instruction in proper lifting and transfer techniques, infection control measures, and communication strategies to effectively meet the diverse needs of our residents.

Our LVNs play a crucial role in providing skilled nursing care and supervision within our facility. Support Services for Residents' Transition

At our facility, we provide resources and support services to aid residents' transition into the community. Led by our Social Services Director, we offer guidance, orientation programs, and personalized assistance to help residents adjust smoothly. We collaborate closely with residents, families, and healthcare providers to address individual needs and ensure a positive transition experience.

Transportation Services

We do have a van and escort but that is on a limited schedule. We will typically try to use their insurance to cover transportation. Otherwise, we will help them set up Sac RTGO for $5/way.

Dining Experience

Our assisted living facility offers a dining experience focused on nutrition, comfort, and socialization. Residents enjoy restaurant-style dining with nutritious, diverse menus tailored to their dietary needs and preferences. We provide flexible dining options, including tray service to their rooms if they are currently ill or recovering from a surgery, and host special events to enhance the dining experience. Our goal is to create an inviting environment where residents can enjoy delicious meals and meaningful social interactions.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

• Open Communication: Residents are encouraged to communicate complaints or concerns directly to staff.
• Documentation: We document details of the issue and resident preferences.
• Investigation: Our team investigates thoroughly, gathering information and speaking with involved parties.
• Resolution: We collaborate with residents to find solutions promptly.
• Follow-Up: We ensure satisfaction with the resolution and use feedback for continuous improvement.
• Resident Council: Our resident’s hold their own Resident Council meetings and include staff members to be able to talk about complaints and how we can resolve them.

Cost of Living

We are currently only accepting residents on the Assisted Living Waiver Program. The 2024 Rent rates under ALWP are $1398.07 with SSI and $1418.07 with SSA/SSI.

Communication with Resident's Families

At our assisted living facility, we maintain transparent communication with residents' families by providing regular updates on their loved ones' well-being through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings. Each resident is assigned a designated point of contact for inquiries and concerns. We schedule care conferences to discuss care plans and address feedback. In emergencies, we prioritize immediate communication. While we prioritize keeping families informed, we also respect residents' privacy rights. These practices foster trust and collaboration, enhancing the quality of care for our residents.

We offer long-term, only.

Pet Policy

Currently, we do not allow animals.

Vaccination Clinics

We hold clinics at our facility. We are currently in contact with a new pharmacy and trying to set up more clinics with all different types of vaccinations.

Aging in Place

Yes, absolutely. We do have some availability within our ALF. We are currently only accepting new residents on the Assisted Living Waiver Program and not placing residents here under private pay.
