Safety and Well-being Measures
Our caregivers & Med Techs are available 24/7, with their offices located at the entrance. Visiting hours are from 8am-8pm. Some residents have wander guards, which trigger an alarm if they get too close to an exit, but they are allowed to roam within our community.
Transition Support Services
We assist with paperwork, scheduling transportation, and managing medication and physician appointments. We require income verification from family members, such as bank statements.
Transportation Services
We offer a community bus for outings and appointments. For non-ambulatory residents, we also use Uber.
Dining Experience
Residents receive assigned seating and can request meals, such as a Chef Salad, if they're not interested in the meal of the day. We also accommodate residents' diets.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
We hold Council meetings monthly with our Executive Director and all management. Residents can speak individually about different topics, including any complaints. Residents are also comfortable approaching any management member with issues, which are then discussed in our daily morning meetings.
Communication with Residents' Families
Our management, including the Business Office Manager and Wellness Director, maintains active communication with families, especially when problems arise. Our receptionist also communicates with families about their loved ones' well-being.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer both short-term and respite stays, though many residents love the environment so much that we have very few short-term stays.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. We currently have 2 residents with kittens.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
We do not administer Covid or flu vaccinations directly, but we have doctors come in to do so.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place. While we offer physical therapy and support for recovery, many residents choose to stay due to the enjoyable environment, despite initially planning short-term stays.
