Pricing Plan Options

Charter House offers several pricing plans to choose from for your financial flexibility. Our Sales & Marketing team is available to discuss our options.

Requests to change your financial plan will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with no guarantee to change.

• 60% Refundable Entrance Fee - Under this plan, your entrance fee will be 60% refundable.
• 80% Refundable Entrance Fee - Under this plan, your entrance fee will be 80% refundable.
• 90% Refundable Entrance Fee - Under this plan, your entrance fee will be 90% refundable.
• Deferred Entrance Fee - Under this plan, your entrance fee can be deferred for up to one year (12 calendar months) from the date of your contract. Once the entrance fee is paid, your contract will be changed to the 80% refundable plan and your monthly fee will reduce to the 80% plan price.

Meal Plan Option: Resident Choice Dollars

You may opt into a meal plan for an additional fee (see below). If there are two residents in an apartment, both must have the same meal plan. Meal plans may be changed as often as once every 3 months. The meal plan program may be used at the 22nd floor Dining venues, the Corner Cupboard, the 2nd floor Market, and for Charter House Catering Services.

We adhere to all Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) requirements to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

Resources and Support Services for Residents' Transition into the Community

This question requires more context and is best answered during a tour of our facility. Please note that all residents enter Charter House when they are living independently.

Transportation Services for Residents

Yes, we offer transportation services. Please refer to the brochures sent and our website in my email signature for more details.

Process for Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues

Our resident services director will assist residents through the process if they have a complaint or an issue.

Communication with Residents' Families

Communication policies vary depending on the living arrangement. Care conferences are held as required by the state for those in care venues. For the majority of Charter House (which is independent living), communication is up to the individual. We also have a resident portal where families can stay updated on activities.

Short-term or Respite Stays

No, we do not offer short-term or respite stays.

Pet Policy

By law, we allow emotional support and service animals only.

Waitlist Status

Yes, we currently have a waitlist.

Vaccinations for Residents

Residents have been able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations in the community in the past. Going forward, we will follow MDH guidelines.

Aging in Place

All of our care areas are under one roof. The care areas are separate from each other and from independent living.

Independent Living

Our residents join us first in Independent Living and are then able to have access to continuing care if/when needed. Our independent 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments vary in size and finishes.

Amenities

Our amenities include a fitness center, spa and salon, game room, woodworking shop, greenhouse, chapel, library, and art gallery.
