Types of Professionals on Our Staff and Their Training
As the Executive Director, I have completed my state certification, as has Matt Mifflin, our Wellness Director. I have four years of experience as an ED, and Matt has two years. Our team consists of various professionals trained in care strategies and safety protocols specific to elder care, undergoing continual training to ensure the best care for our residents.
Measures for Resident Safety and Well-being
We conduct an Initial Care Plan Assessment followed by a 30-day Care Plan Review. Any changes in conditions result in Care Plan updates. Routine care plan meetings with residents and family members are held as needed to ensure everyone's safety and well-being.
Resources and Support for Community Transition
We offer a Resident Council and I host monthly Town Hall Meetings for residents and families, providing an avenue for discussing concerns and easing their transition into our community.
Transportation Services
Unfortunately, we do not have a bus or van for transportation at this time.
Dining Experience
We provide a restaurant-style dining experience. Residents can be served breakfast from 8-9 AM, lunch from 12-1 PM, and dinner from 5-6 PM. Our menu rotates monthly and we also offer a select menu for those who prefer an alternative to the scheduled meals.
Complaint and Issue Resolution Process
Residents can report issues to the staff, who will then alert management. We maintain a grievance process, documented via our "Grievance Log" at the front desk for proper documentation.
Communication with Families
Our policy is to communicate as often as needed. We send out monthly emails to families to keep them updated on the status of the community and the well-being of their loved ones.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays at $185 per day with a two-week minimum.

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.
Vaccination Availability
Our pharmacy provides clinics for COVID and flu vaccinations annually.
Aging in Place
Yes, residents are able to age in place. Currently, we have no waiting list.
