Our campus is home to a diverse team of professionals, ranging from housekeeping staff, chefs, and servers to care associates, nurses, and specialists in sales and marketing. Each department offers tailored training programs designed to meet the specific skills required for that area. To share a bit of my experience, my own onboarding process took nearly three months to complete. During this time, I participated in a comprehensive training program that included online courses, one-on-one sessions with various departments, and consistent support from our corporate team. The training was thorough and well-structured, ensuring I felt fully prepared to take on my role when the time came. Importantly, our training doesn’t stop after onboarding. We are committed to continuous professional development and regularly participate in additional training sessions and classes throughout the year. This ongoing education ensures that our staff remains at the forefront of industry standards and is always prepared to deliver the highest level of service. Yes, we provide a variety of resources and support services to ensure a smooth transition for new residents, tailored to their specific needs and level of care. Each resident has a personalized onboarding experience, where department heads personally introduce themselves and explain how their services can be accessed, such as submitting maintenance requests or finding information about community events. We also place great emphasis on fostering a welcoming environment, with current residents playing an active role in greeting and assisting newcomers. Additionally, we recognize the important role that families play in helping their loved ones adjust to community life. We understand that moving from a home to a community can be a significant change, particularly for individuals with memory or cognitive challenges, and we offer ongoing support to ease this transition. Our dining experience varies depending on the level of care and living arrangement. In Independent and Assisted Living, our restaurant is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering a full menu with daily specials, allowing residents the flexibility to dine at their convenience. In our Memory Care community, the dining experience is more intimate, set in a home-like environment. This setting is designed to minimize distractions and help staff monitor any changes in residents, ensuring a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.Process for Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues
Our concierge service is the most efficient and direct way for residents to have their complaints or concerns addressed. The concierge will promptly relay the issue to the appropriate department for resolution. Additionally, as part of our onboarding process, each resident meets with the department heads. This introduction is crucial in building relationships from day one, ensuring that residents feel comfortable and supported. We maintain an open-door policy across all departments, so residents can confidently bring forward any issues that may arise.Communication with Residents' Families
Communication with families is a top priority for us. However, we also strictly adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of our residents. When a new resident moves in, the Power of Attorney (POA) can meet with the Executive Director of the community to establish a personalized communication plan. This plan outlines how and when updates will be shared, ensuring that families are kept informed about their loved ones' well-being in a manner that respects both legal requirements and the family's preferences.Short-term or Respite Stays
Currently, we do not have any short-term or respite rooms available.Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, the pet fee is $1,000. We even have a dog park on campus.Waitlist Status
The availability of our apartments changes frequently. As of today, August 22nd, we do have a waitlist for one particular style of apartment in Independent Living. However, there are openings in other styles. Please note that the availability and waitlist status can change daily.Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Yes, we occasionally organize flu vaccination clinics within the community. Residents will be notified in advance about the dates and details of these clinics. Additionally, we offer transportation services to doctor's offices for residents who prefer not to wait for a clinic or need other medical services, including COVID-19 vaccinations.Aging in Place
Yes, our community is designed to support residents as they age in place.
