Are you looking into senior living for a loved one? Or researching for a project? I noticed your email is hello caring plan, is that the name of a company? Please find the answers to your questions below in bold text.
Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have a variety of staff here at Cascade Inn, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, Housekeeping Staff, Activities, Maintenance, Dining services, department heads and more. Each department would have a variety of different trainings for the roles in their departments in addition to our monthly all-staff trainings on topics applicable to the senior living industry.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Safety is always our priority. Our building has gated parking available for residents and security cameras surrounding the building. The community is staffed 24 hours a day.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have a welcome binder that is available to residents and our Customer Service Director reviews the resident handbook and community policies with all new move ins. We also have an ambassador program available to help residents feel welcomed and included by their peers.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, scheduled transportation is available for residents.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our community offers restraint style dining and provides all 3 meals daily for all of our residents. Royal Chef Darren McGrady is a consultant with our company and our head Chef at Cascade Inn has done many trainings with him.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Residents can always discuss any concerns in the monthly Fireside Chat with department heads or have conversation with the department heads or Executive Director as issues arise. The Fireside Chat notes are kept and distributed and followed up on at the next month’s meeting to see what progress has been made.
What is the cost of living in your community?
The cost of living varies depending on size and style of apartment as well as the resident’s level of care.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Our nursing team does a wonderful job connecting with residents contacts and keeping them involved in care plans.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do have respite options available for up to 30 day stays. The cost would vary from $175-395 a day depending on the resident’s level of care.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes
Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
No we have immediate availability.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, we do host vaccine clinics.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, we offer both Independent and Assisted Living options and residents can remain in their same apartment as their care needs increase. Most of our residents are able to stay with us through end of life care.
