Direct Admissions and Fees

Carolina Meadows accepts direct admissions into The Fairways, our Assisted Living community, and The Green, our Memory Care, when there is availability. A direct admission to the Fairways has an entry fee of $65,000.00 per person, which is amortized over 50 months and each resident would also pay the daily rate, which is currently $258.00. Memory Care has a current daily rate of $399.00.

The entry fees for the villas and apartments reflect a base price per unit. Additional modifications to individual homes may cause these prices to increase. All square footage figures are approximate measurements.

Assisted Living Fee Schedule

Carolina Meadows Assisted Living accommodations include 24-hour staff, all daily meals, snacks, housekeeping services, and planned and supervised recreational activities. The Green at the Fairways provides a specialized environment and staffing for memory support. All accommodations fees are calculated on a per diem basis and are billed in advance.

Health Center Fee Schedule

Carolina Meadows Health center accommodations include 24-hour nursing care, all daily meals, snacks, housekeeping services, and planned and supervised recreational activities. All accommodation fees are calculated on a per diem basis and are billed in arrears.

Overview of Professionals and Training

We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community offering a range of services including Independent Living, Assistant Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. Our staff includes an Executive team, marketing team, nursing staff, social workers, resident services, dining staff, and maintenance staff. All employees undergo annual training updates on Relias, a leading provider of workforce education solutions.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Our facility operates 24/7 with security measures in place. Residents and employees can report suspicious activities to Resident Services. Residents are provided with pendants for emergency alerts, and all units are equipped with alarms in key areas for added safety.

Transition Support Services

We recommend a list of companies that assist with moving, transitioning, and downsizing services to aid residents' transition into our community.

Transportation Services

We offer 24/7 on-campus transportation, scheduled trips to shopping centers, grocery stores, and other requested locations. An Ancillary Fee schedule is available for services requiring extra fees.

Dining Experience

Our community boasts seven dining venues, including The Bake Shop, The Pub, The Courtyard, The Marketplace, The Piedmont, and The Café, offering a variety of dining options. Residents have a $300.00 minimum dining expense requirement, which can also be spent on Home Shopping items.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents can speak to the Resident Services manager or their assigned social worker for assistance with complaints or issues.

Communication with Residents' Families

We ensure families are notified about major changes and events. Our team of social workers helps relay concerns and keep families updated on their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Our Skilled Nursing facility, the Pines, offers short-term stays. A current Fee Schedule is available for reference.

Pet-friendly Community

We are a pet-friendly community at every level of care, allowing up to two pets per dwelling without breed restrictions, focusing on temperament.

Vaccination Services

Residents have priority access to flu and Covid vaccinations through our Medical Practice. Covid vaccinations are mandatory for employment at Carolina Meadows.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place with Home Care services or participate in our off-campus Early Advantage program. Details, including wait times for Independent Living homes, are provided.
