Do you guys currently have a waitlist? We do not have a waitlist at this time.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility? For Management we have Executive Director, Marketing Director, Business Office Manager, Director of Health and Wellness, Memory Care Coordinator, and Executive Chef. For line staff we have Medication Aids (they administer all medications) and Caregivers (providing the assistance and care for the Residents). The Medication Aids go through training with our Pharmacy, Edgeway. Caregivers are trained by our Nurse and Memory Care Coordinator. There is monthly staff meeting/training as well.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? We are staffed 24/7. Our Memory Care and Enhanced Assisted Living are secured. Our main Assisted Living is not a secured building, but the doors do lock at 8pm. Rounds are completed frequently. I would be happy to have my nurse call you to explain the requirements for the Caregivers and Med Techs.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community? We have an Alzheimer’s/Dementia training provided by our in-house Physician with Providence Care on a quarterly basis. We are all about communication and do everything we can to make sure the transition is smooth. You will have careplan meetings with our Health and Wellness Director as well.
Do you offer transportation services for residents? Yes, we will offer transport as long as we know in advance and it is in the general location of the Community.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience? 3 meals a day (8am,12pm,5pm) all Residents are served restaurant style. You have a menu with the main entrée that is being served along with a few ‘always available’ items if you do not want the main entrée.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed? Management is always around and always happy to have a discussion to see what the concern is and then come up with a plan to fix it.
What is the cost of living in your community? The cost is going to depend on the room style, whether you need Assisted Living or Memory Care, and also the Assessment that is conducted. What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? Your main contact would be with our Director of Health and Wellness and possibly our Memory Care Coordinator depending on where your loved one would live. You would have a conversation with them upfront about your expectations and how you want to be communicated with.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost? We do offer Respite Care. It is a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 30 days. The cost is $196 a day.
Are you all a pet-friendly community? We are pet friendly. We will need vaccination records on file and kept up to date. We have a one-time fee for pets.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community? Yes, we do a flu and COVID clinic!
Are residents able to age in place? Yes, for the most part – as long as they do not require a skilled nursing need. We are only Assisted Living and Memory Care. Cannot have a cath, colostomy bag, wound vac, open wounds, those kinds of things in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care.
