Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training

Our team comprises two LVN Nurses, Medication Technicians, and Caregivers. The Medication Technicians and Caregivers undergo continuous in-house training to ensure they are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to provide the best care possible.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we conduct monthly fire drills and have installed cameras throughout the building. These measures are part of our commitment to maintaining a secure environment for everyone in our community.

Resources and Support for New Residents

We offer a warm welcome to new residents with the help of our welcome committee and a dedicated move-in coordinator, Susann. These resources are designed to aid residents' transition into the community smoothly and comfortably.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

If a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed, they are encouraged to see the Executive Director or contact a third-party Ombudsman. We are committed to resolving concerns promptly and effectively.

Communication with Residents' Families

Communication with our residents' families is facilitated through Life Loop, a third-party app, and Instagram @carmelvillagefountainvalley. We also make personal phone calls depending on the specific needs, ensuring families are kept updated about their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer short-term or respite stays. Our focus is on providing long-term care and support to our residents.

Waitlist Information

Currently, there is a waitlist only for ground floor one-bedroom units, with only one person on that list.

Vaccination Availability

Residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community, ensuring their health and safety are prioritized.

Aging in Place

Our community supports aging in place by offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. This allows residents to receive the appropriate level of care as their needs evolve over time.
