Comprehensive Care and Support at Llewsac Lodge

We have licensed staff that provide support and care to our Residents. Staff include nurses, nursing assistants, nurse practitioners, activities, dining, housekeeping, rehab, pastoral care, and social workers. We have mandatory yearly education for all staff. We provide support from all departments to ensure the safety and well-being for all our Residents. Discharge planning occurs if someone is leaving our community and referrals made as indicated. Transportation can be scheduled for Residents.

Dining Experience

All three meals are included at Llewsac Lodge in our dining rooms, lounge and café. Residents are encouraged to dine in the dining rooms, but they can order a meal bag if they prefer. Meal trays can be delivered to Residents if they are not feeling well.

Grievance Policy

We have a formal grievance policy if a Resident has a concern. Residents are encouraged to share concerns if they have any, without any consequences.

Cost and Communication

Cost depends on the type of room and if a Resident enters Llewsac from outside of Carleton Willard or transitions from independent living. We communicate with families as needed and with Resident permission. We notify our families of any outbreak of illness, including COIVD 19. We have routine care plan meetings every 6 months at Llewsac Lodge and invite families to attend.

Respite Stays and Pet Policy

We offer respite stays at Llewsac Loge and they are billed on a daily rate. We do not allow pets at Llewsac but have a therapy dog that visits. Our independent living Residents can have pets and we welcome family pets for visits.

Healthcare and Vaccinations

Our Residents receive vaccines at Llewsac Lodge. We are a CCRC, a continuum of care residential community, offering three levels of care as people age.

Accommodation Availability

We do have a wait list for 2-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms plus study in our cottages (formerly known as Cluster Homes), Winthrop Terrace and Badger Terrace. Have availability in Badger Terrace 1-Bedrooms and studios only.
