Overview of Professionals and Training

Our staff includes RNs, LPNs, state-tested nursing aides, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and their assistants, occupational therapists and their assistants, speech therapists, a medical director, and nurse practitioners. Each professional undergoes rigorous training specific to their field, ensuring they provide the highest quality of care.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have cameras in the hallways and require all visitors to sign in. We also conduct sex offender checks on all referrals.

Transition into the Community

Our social workers handle discharge planning for residents transitioning to the community. They set up all necessary services and order any required durable medical equipment to ensure a safe discharge.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation to doctor's appointments for our residents.

Dining Experience

Our facility features a dining hall for communal use, though patients can also choose to eat in their rooms if they are not at risk of choking. We provide dedicated menus with alternative options available daily.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents are encouraged to bring any issues to the appropriate department. For example, nursing questions should be directed to the nurse of the day, and if unresolved, escalated to the unit manager.

Communication with Residents' Families

We hold care plan meetings upon initial admission and then quarterly to keep families updated on their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite care at $300.00 per day for a semi-private room and $330.00 per day for a private room, with payment required in advance.

Pet-Friendly Community

While we are a pet-friendly community, we only allow visiting pets, not residential ones.

Waitlist Information

Our census fluctuates, and we do have a waitlist for long-term care beds. Availability varies by day and week.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, we offer both Covid and flu vaccinations to our residents.

Aging in Place

While we are dually certified for short-term and long-term care, we do not offer assisted living services at this location.
