Community Details

Staff
Our community has an Executive Director, Registered Nurse (Director of Nursing), and an LPN (Staff Nurse). All of our direct staff caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants.
Emergency Alert System
We have emergency buttons throughout the facility as well as the resident apartments that, if pushed, directly alert our CNAs phones and give them the location. Residents also have the option to wear a pendant that alerts the CNAs if pressed. This option does cost a one-time fee of $180.
Security and Access
Our Residents are issued key cards so when the doors are locked down after hours, they are able to still come and go as they please. All visitors after hours must be let in by a staff member.
We also have a camera system that covers both the inside and outside of the building.
New Resident Orientation
We do an orientation for all new residents upon move-in and our therapy can also work with them to acclimate them to the facility. We also try and introduce new residents to other residents with similar interests.
Dining
We serve restaurant style in our dining room and residents have several options to choose from with each meal. Our servers will take their food and drink order and bring it to them, then clean up after they are done.
Our mealtimes are as follows: breakfast 7-9; lunch 11-1; dinner 4-6. We do not serve meals in the residents' apartments unless they are sick.
Grievance Policy
We have a grievance policy in place and request that residents inform a staff member immediately if they have a concern. All grievances are handled by either the Executive Director or Director of Nursing.
Family Communication
Depending on the resident’s wishes, family members can be given information on their status. We have an online website called Caremerge that families can have access to if the resident agrees to allow them access.
Respite Stays
We do not offer short-term or respite stays. Since we also accept Medicaid as payment, we are not allowed to provide respite stays.
Pet Policy
We recently started a new pet policy. We have had 3 cats in the community, but no dogs as of yet. Unfortunately, the way our community is situated, it is almost impossible to have access to potty areas in inclement weather.
Vaccines
We did offer COVID-19 vaccines when they were first available but have not since the first booster shot came out. We do offer FLU vaccines yearly. We encourage residents to get their vaccines, but they are not a requirement for admission.
Supportive Living
We are strictly a Supportive Living community, so when someone needs a higher level of care, we would assist them in finding appropriate accommodations.
Waiting List
We do have a waiting list.
Supportive Living Services
We are a Supportive Living facility, so we can work with the State’s Medicaid program depending on income and assets.
