Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

We have a waitlist for our Garden Cottages currently. These are a truly independent option. We have an opening for studios and one bedrooms in both of our buildings.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

We have a clinical psychologist as our executive director. We have an LVN on staff. Med-techs. CNA. They undergo training at our community. They one week of video training and then shadowing our team that has several years in the building. Our care-coordinator for instance, has been here for 24 years.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

We give emergency response pendants to all our residents. There are also pull-cords in the restrooms. Grab bars. Our staff can also do checks on their rounds. Every 30 minute checks, 1 hour, 2 hour etc.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We have resident ambassadors that welcome each of our residents once they are at the community. They can dine with them, go to activities, and show them how our schedule works.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Yes, complimentary in a 10-mile radius. We do doctors appointments, scenic drives, restaurants etc.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We pass out a menu every Friday with pre-planned meals for lunch and dinner. Our residents can choose of our bistro menu should they not like what’s being served on that day. Breakfast is served between 7:30-8:30. Lunch 11:30-12:30. Dinner 4:30-5:30.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

If the family wants it handled externally, you will call the local ombudsman office. This is a third-party that is an advocate for residents and families. If you would like the matter investigated internally, our Executive Director will handle the case.

What is the cost of living in your community?

$2,500 for truly independent Garden Cottage. This is a one-bedroom layout that is not licensed for care.

$3,000 for a studio in a building licensed for care.

$4,000 for a one-bedroom in the building that is licensed for care.

Our licensed building amenities include, three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, laundry, linen service, cable, Wi-Fi, transportation etc. If your loved one has care needs, our care starts at $600 and can go all the way to $2,400, depending on how extensive the care is.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

Our Wellness Director is in constant contact with each of our families. If behavior is abnormal or not eating the same, we let family know right away. You have access to all of our management teams personal phone with questions you may have.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

Yes, $225 per day. Fully furnished meal with everything included.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes, additional fee only if the resident can’t manage their pet’s care.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, in our licensed buildings they can age in place as their care progresses. We only make the move if the resident shows signs of exit seeking behavior with a dementia or Alzheimer’s diagnosis. We recommend Memory Care to our families at that point.
