Pet Policy

Pets are welcome at Brownsboro Park. There is a non-refundable pet deposit of $250 required at move-in.

Security Deposit

There are no expensive entry fees or long-term commitments required when you make Brownsboro Park your home. There is only a modest security deposit that is based upon the size of the apartment you select.

Overview of Staff and Training

At Brownsboro Park, our staff comprises various professionals, including dining staff, housekeeping, maintenance, drivers, and activity staff. As an independent living facility, we do not require our employees to undergo specific training for care services. Our management team, including the Executive Director who holds a Master's Degree in Social Work, is well-qualified, with degrees that align with their positions.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our residents through protocols for fire, tornadoes, and power outages, ensuring meal delivery and safety. Our day-to-day safety measures include 24-hour security and emergency pendants and pull cords for all residents.

Support Services for Residents

To aid residents' transition into the community, we offer a resident-lead mentor program. This initiative helps new residents acclimate and feel welcomed in their new environment.

Transportation Services

Our shuttle service operates 7 days a week at no extra charge, providing convenient transportation options for our residents.

Dining Experience

Our dining room is open from 11:00am-7:00pm, offering open seating and two different menus. Breakfast is served continental style from the bar in the mornings.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Our policy ensures that residents can freely approach the Executive Director or any manager with complaints or issues, promising a supportive and responsive environment.

Communication with Residents' Families

Regular communications are sent to families to keep them informed about community happenings and their loved ones' well-being. Specific issues are addressed with the resident first, followed by family updates.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term stays at a rate of $85/day, providing flexibility for various needs.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community welcomes pets with a $250 non-refundable deposit, requiring residents to independently care for their pets.

Vaccination Clinics

We host annual flu/Covid vaccine clinics in partnership with Kroger or Walgreens, allowing residents to sign up for vaccinations conveniently.

Aging in Place

While we recognize the individuality of the aging process, we facilitate aging in place with the help of third-party providers like Senior Helpers for those requiring additional assistance. However, we guide families through transitions when memory impairment becomes a concern.

Availability of Units

There is currently no waiting list for our standard 1-bedroom units, though we have waiting lists for studios and 2-bedroom units.
