Overview of Professional Staff and Training

Our care staff includes LPN’s, RN’s, STNA’s, and caregivers. All staff undergo dementia training and skills training before starting their roles. They participate in peer-to-peer training for weeks and are required to complete monthly in-person training and online training through corporate. Specialized training is provided as needed for individual resident care.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have video surveillance, locked doors after 7:30pm, and all staff undergo BCI and drug screening upon hiring. Residents have call lights in all rooms and pendant necklaces for emergencies. We conduct monthly tornado and fire drills with residents and staff.

Transition Support Services

We offer a resident ambassador program and welcome committee to help new residents transition into the community. This includes invitations to activities and dinners, and introductions to other residents. We encourage a gradual move-in process to ease anxiety.

Transportation Services

Our transportation services include a wheelchair shuttle and SUV for doctor appointments three days a week, weekly shopping trips, and day trips.

Dining Experience

We offer all-day dining with flexible hours, including two specials for lunch and dinner, and a comprehensive always-available menu. Specialized diets are accommodated with doctor's orders, and all food is homemade.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents or families can bring concerns to the direct leader of the concerned department for investigation and resolution. Monthly resident council meetings are also held for discussions.

Cost of Living

Annual cost of living increases range from 4%-9%, with many floor plans available. Rates start from $4,460 to $7,285, including all amenities.

Communication with Residents' Families

We hold quarterly care conferences and encourage open communication with families regarding any changes in condition or care needs. Our approach is to overcommunicate to ensure families are well-informed.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer respite stays due to full occupancy. Our contracts require a 30-day notice to vacate.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community and offer pet care services as needed.

Waitlist Information

We currently have a waitlist for Independent and Assisted Living, with 2 apartments available in Memory Care.

Vaccination Services

Residents can receive Covid, flu, and pneumonia vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Our community supports aging in place, allowing residents to stay in the same apartment up to a level 6 of care. A move to a secured memory care environment is facilitated only when necessary.
