Assisted Living Apartment Rates include three fresh, seasonal meals prepared daily by our culinary team, hydration station with snacks available in our Bistro Lounge, daily activities to enrich body, mind and spirit, weekly laundry and housekeeping, daily trash removal, scheduled transportation to medical appointments, in suite emergency call system, and trained staff available 24 hours a day. Every Assisted Living resident has an Individualized Plan of Care based on personal needs, nurse evaluation, and medication management.

Our team comprises a diverse range of professionals including Registered Nurses, Dementia Specialists, Social Workers, Environmental Specialists, Recreation and Music Therapists, Physical Therapists, and many more. We ensure our staff is well-equipped to provide the highest quality of care through monthly trainings on various topics such as care management, infection control, and compliance matters.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, our facility is physically secure, requiring staff assistance for entry and exit. We utilize a pendant system allowing residents to receive immediate help, aiming for a 5-minute response time, with our current average being 8 minutes. Additionally, we conduct monthly fire drills, elopement drills, and department audits.

Transition Support Services

Our Transition Coordinator plays a crucial role in helping residents assimilate into the community through orientation, regular visits, and providing support to families for effective communication.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services for medical appointments within a 10-mile radius, available every Monday and Thursday, via our bus and van.

Dining Experience

Our dining service includes three meals a day, with breakfast cooked to order and a variety of options for lunch and dinner, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our residents.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Our process for handling complaints involves initial discussion with the department head, followed by escalation to the Executive Director or our management company, Kalven Senior Living, if necessary.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community is detailed in the attached pricing list for our apartments.

Communication with Residents' Families

We provide a New Resident Handbook with essential contact information and hold Care Plan meetings every 6 months or as needed to keep families informed about their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer a 30-day respite room at a rate of $245/day, catering to short-term or respite stays.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community is pet-friendly, welcoming residents and their furry companions.

Vaccination Clinic

We provide an in-house clinic for Covid and flu vaccinations in the fall, ensuring our residents' health and safety.

Aging in Place

While we hope residents can age in place, state regulations may require the discharge of some residents who need a higher level of care. We currently do not have a waiting list for our Assisted Living.
