Dementia Training

Our staff are oriented and have mandatory dementia training before starting and on an ongoing basis monthly. McLean Hospital provides dementia training for our staff as well as our families and the community and also provide on-site geri psych for our residents.

Personalized Care Plans

Each resident has a personalized enrichment/activity plan and a multi-disciplinary approach to their care plan. We offer enriched care for those requiring extensive care and support. ENGAGE physical therapy is on-site to assist with fall prevention, pain management, and orienting new residents to their environment. This includes helping to set up the apartment with durable medical equipment or whatever devices a resident may need to ambulate and transfer safely.

Transportation and Medical Services

Our transportation is for recreation only and we do go out weekly. We also have access to TEMBO, which offers 24-hour access to urgent care via a FaceTime call with a physician, helping prevent hospitalizations. Medical companion services for taking residents to appointments can be arranged (fee for service).

Fine Dining and Accommodation Costs

It is fine dining and each resident's preferences are honored, including meal times and any specialized diets needed. Rent ranges from about $13,000.00 to $15,000.00 a month, and the services offered are very comprehensive.

Communication and Family Involvement

Communication is key and we have an open door policy for families to reach out 7 days a week at any time. Once someone first moves in, we decide how the family would like to be updated. As a general rule, there is a care plan meeting within the first 4 weeks of moving in and then quarterly.

Respite Stays

Respite stays can be offered depending on availability at the cost of $500.00 per day.

Pet-Friendly Environment

Bridges is pet-friendly and works with families to provide services to care for pets if we anticipate the resident will struggle with the day-to-day needs of the animal.

Availability and End-of-Life Services

We currently have a waitlist at our Lexington location. Residents have access to all vaccines. Most families choose to remain here at Bridges with care and comfort end-of-life services.
