Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

We have an LPN, CNAs, and resident assistants. CNA’s training is a 6-8 week program. The resident assistants are trained through a combination of our company training and shadowing a long-term employee.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

We give residents the call pendant and do 2-3 hour status checks on every resident. We take attendance at mealtimes. All apartments have an emergency pull cord in the bedroom and bathroom.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We assign resident ambassadors, and the managers and line-staff do extra checking on the new residents. The activities director will also spend one-on-one time with our new folks.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

We provide medical transportation on Tuesdays and take trips out to different destinations.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

3 meals per day. We have specials at lunch and dinner. We also offer an alternate menu.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

They can go straight to the executive director’s office or talk to any manager on duty. We also give them our personal cell phone numbers.

What is the cost of living in your community?

I have attached our rate sheet. The cost depends on the style of apartment and how much care a resident needs.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

We email important information to all families and call about personal things for a particular resident.

Do you offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We offer a 30-day respite stay for $215/day. This includes care.

Yes!

Do you currently have a waitlist?

In memory care - yes. Assisted living – no.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes – every fall.

Are residents able to age in place?

That is a conversation. Happy to talk to you about it. Most people do finish their lives here.
