This senior living community is a skilled nursing facility that focuses exclusively on providing skilled nursing care. It does not offer assisted living services. The facility is designed to be the next level of care for residents, with the hospital being the subsequent step if more intensive care is needed.

Accommodations and Availability

The community has a waitlist for potential residents, with approximately 10 patients currently waiting to be admitted due to the facility being at capacity. Accommodation options include both private and semi-private rooms.

Respite Care

Respite care services are available with a typical minimum stay of five days.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed within the facility, provided they are fully vaccinated.

Transportation Services

The community offers its own transportation system for residents, as well as access to other transportation services.

Dining Experience

While most residents prefer to dine in their rooms, especially those with short-term stays for rehabilitation, there are two additional dining areas available. The facility accommodates dietary restrictions and allergies with the help of a registered dietician who ensures these are noted on admission and indicated on tray cards.

Staff and Medical Support

The staff at the facility includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, a full therapy team (physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists), and a full administrative staff.

The community adheres to strict infection control protocols. This includes quarantine measures, mask-wearing, regular COVID testing, and other infection control practices to ensure the safety of residents.

Residents can receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations within the facility.

Resident Concerns and Communication

A concern management system is in place, including concern forms and an ambassador's program where each new resident is assigned an ambassador for direct contact. Residents are provided with a list of key contacts from various departments and have access to direct phone numbers for immediate communication. Any concerns raised are addressed within 24 hours.

Family Communication

The facility communicates with residents' families in the same manner as with the residents, ensuring open and direct lines of communication.
