Assisted Living Waiting List

There is currently a waiting list for our Assisted Living. To be added to the waiting list, Brethren Care Village requires a security deposit to be paid in advance of moving into the community.

Security Deposit

The security deposit secures your spot on the waiting list. The security deposit amount is $2,500.00 and is 100% refundable should you not move in for any reason.

Continuum of Care at Brethren Care Village

Brethren Care Village provides a continuum of care for seniors at all levels and abilities.

Assisted Living Facilities

We have two different assisted living facilities, Belmont Tower and Brookwood Place. They are both apartment-style living and include 1-2 bedrooms, living space, kitchen or kitchenette with a refrigerator/mini-fridge, microwave, and sink. Both offer a nurse and nursing aides 24 hours a day that provide medication management and nursing care (Level of Care). Each Resident is issued an Emergency Call Button. Our rates include all utilities, 3 meals per day, weekly Housekeeping and Life Enrichment Programming (activities).

Belmont Tower

Belmont Tower is what I would call the true assisted living. We have some residents who live almost independently, we have some residents that need quite a bit of assistance with their daily living activities, and everyone in between. Belmont Tower is a five-story building that has larger sized apartments (500 sq ft, 1 Bedroom to 900 sq ft, 2 Bedroom).

Brookwood Place

Brookwood Place is a one-floor building that has smaller apartments (365 sq ft, 1 Bedroom) and is geared toward residents in need of memory care services.

Bradford House

We also offer another assisted living-memory care option called Bradford House, which is very specific to our advanced dementia population. These have a unique setup as there are 5 residents living in the house, which gives it a more homelike and intimate setting.

Payment Options

The assisted living options are private pay. There are a couple of sources that could help offset the cost. There is a program with the VA if the individual is a veteran or was married to a veteran. The program is called Aid & Attendance and you should contact the Veterans Service Office of your county. Another source is Long Term Care Insurance; this would be a policy that the individual is paying for. Lastly, there is a Medicaid Waiver program (Brookwood Place-only).
