Overview on the Types of Professionals on Our Staff and Training

Our staff undergo basic dementia care training upon hire, as well as annual update trainings. I recently obtained my CADDCT certification. Our staff will undergo an 8-hour training day with me to become Certified Dementia Practitioners. This certification is beneficial because it dives deep into the disease and helps them better understand the residents we care for.

Measures to Ensure Safety and Well-Being of Residents

We have 24-hour staffing as well as secured doors for our memory care unit. Our front entrance doors lock at 8 PM every day, requiring a code to enter the community after that time. We have a nurse on staff to keep a watchful eye on any condition changes for our residents.

Resources or Support Services for Residents' Transition

We do not currently offer "support" services, but our staff are trained in helping make the transition easy for residents and family members.

Transportation Services for Residents

We do not offer transportation but can arrange it through CATS or GRIT.

Dining Experience

Our dining is restaurant-style, with a menu created by a dietician through our food delivery service. If the resident does not like what is on the menu, we can offer other options.

Process for Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues

For grievances, we ask the families or residents to report directly to management or complete a grievance form. We will investigate the concern and report back to the family/resident.

Cost of Living in Our Community

Our rates vary based on a Functional Needs Assessment, ranging from $2900 to $3600 per month.

Policy on Communication with Residents' Families

We do not have a formal policy in place, but we are known for our communication with families regarding any changes.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do offer respite stays; the cost is $125 per day with a 2-week minimum requirement.

Pet-Friendly Community

We accept small dogs and cats, as long as the resident can care for them.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations in the community.
