Overview of Professional Staff and Training

We staff RNs, LPNs, and CNAs as well as social workers, PT, OT, ST dietary staff, housekeeping, and Activities staff.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have an emergency plan in place if an emergency were to happen. Doors are locked at 8pm. Residents are rounded on every 2 hours.

Transition Support Services

We offer social worker support as well as support from other departments to ease the transition to LTC.

Transportation Services

We do not have transportation.

Dining Experience

3 meals a day, served in the dining area on the floor. Residents can also eat in their room. Meals are delivered to the floor from the kitchen in hot carts.

Resident Complaints and Issues

Res or family can register a concern at any time. The concern will be addressed by the appropriate dept. and then follow up will be given to the family/resident.

Cost of Living

Private room is $385, semiprivate $295.

Communication with Residents' Families

Care plans are held quarterly. If family has any questions regarding medical care/status they can speak to a member of the nursing staff at any time.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We can do a respite up to 30 days. Rates vary depending on what floor they respite on. Most people respite in a private room which is $440 per day.

Pet-Friendly Community

Pets are welcome to visit. Pets cannot live at the facility.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

We do COVID clinics every few months. Flu shots can be given.

Aging in Place

Yes, Bethesda Meadow does not have a current waitlist. We are accepting private pay and Medicaid.

Bethesda-Meadow Senior Living Community Overview

Bethesda-Meadow is a senior living community that specializes in long-term care with a focus on skilled nursing services. It does not offer assisted living facilities.

Accommodations and Pricing

The community provides different types of room accommodations, including private and semi-private options. The pricing structure is based on a daily rate, which is subject to change annually in July.

Healthcare and Staffing

Bethesda-Meadow employs a skilled healthcare team that includes both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs), as well as nurse's aides and medication technicians. While there is no doctor or nurse practitioner on-site daily, medical professionals do visit the facility to provide care as needed. The community also manages vaccinations for flu and COVID-19 for its residents.

Dining Experience

Residents receive their meals on trays, as opposed to a cafeteria or restaurant-style dining experience.

Safety and Check-ins

For resident safety, the staff conducts rounds every two hours. There are no mentions of residents having pendants for emergency alerts.

Respite Care and Short-term Stays

Bethesda-Meadow offers respite care services with a minimum stay of seven days and a maximum of 30 days.

Transportation

The community does not provide transportation services for its residents.

Residents can report complaints through a formal grievance process.

Communication with Families

Communication with residents' families can occur through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person discussions. The community also issues a newsletter to keep families informed, but it does not utilize a dedicated app for communication.
