Our facility is staffed by a diverse team of professionals, including housekeeping, dining, maintenance, clerical, finance, medical staff, and administration. Each staff member undergoes rigorous training specific to their department, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the needs of our residents.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have campus safety patrols at night and provide safety pendants for residents to use in emergencies.

Support Services for Residents

We offer support services to aid residents' transition into our community, including a chaplain/pastor and a finance officer who can provide information on long-term care policies and benefits.

Transportation Services

Our community offers transportation to events, shopping experiences, and doctor appointments in Florence and Darlington from Tuesday to Thursday.

Dining Experience

Residents can enjoy meals in our dining hall or Bistro, providing a variety of dining options.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents can address complaints or issues directly to our executive director or through the resident council, which meets monthly.

Communication with Residents' Families

We maintain open communication with residents' families, especially regarding care plans and potential transitions to higher levels of care.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite care, with Taylor Hallman available to answer any related questions via email at thallman@scbma.com.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community is pet-friendly for pets 35 lbs or smaller, with a $500 pet fee and requirement for vet records.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Residents may have access to Covid and flu vaccinations, subject to confirmation from our nursing supervisor or nurse practitioner.

Aging in Place

As a continuing care facility, we support aging in place with services including independent living, assisted living, rehab, memory care, and skilled nursing. We currently have a waiting list for all levels except our independent studios.
