Overview of Professionals and Training
As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) serving Residential (Independent), Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Residents, we have a variety of associates serving those who live here. Our staff includes non-clinical professionals, Registered Nurses (RNs), Social Workers, Clinic (Doctor’s Office) Staff, a Well-Being Team with varied credentials, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Resident Assistants (RAs), and a Spiritual Life Team. All clinical staff adhere to the standards set by the PA Department of Health for licensed Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. Additionally, all associates, regardless of their role, undergo monthly training sessions that cover various Human Resources and clinical topics.Safety and Well-Being Measures
We have a Director of Security who ensures the safety of our residents alongside the security team on campus. Our facility features digital locks on apartments, new security cameras, and main entrances that require badge admission and are under surveillance. We also have secured Memory Support Neighborhoods in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.Resources for Resident Transition
We offer an Ambassador program, periodic check-ins by our Well-Being and Social Services Teams, and a quarterly new resident social. New residents receive guidance through the move-in process from a dedicated Move-In Coordinator.Transportation Services
We provide transportation services around campus, to certain local destinations, and to doctors' appointments for an additional fee.Dining Experience
Our Residential Living area includes three on-site eateries: a café, a bistro and pub, and a restaurant. Meal plans are available for purchase for an additional fee.Resident Complaint Process
The process for addressing resident complaints or issues depends on the nature, field (e.g., medical, maintenance, financial), and severity of the complaint. Resident rights in Pennsylvania allow for voicing concerns, and the specific process varies accordingly.Communication with Families
Communication with residents' families is subject to HIPAA protections and depends on the permissions granted by the residents, the designated contacts, and the resident's health status. Emergency contact, Power of Attorney (POA), and advanced directives information is collected upon move-in.Short-term or Respite Stays
