Availability

There is no waitlist for memory care assisted living, while standard assisted living does have a waitlist.

Respite Care

Respite care is available on a daily rate and can be provided in assisted living or the health center, depending on the individual's needs. The minimum stay can be as short as one day, with most people opting for a five-day stay.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place, transitioning from assisted living to long-term care within the community if their needs change and they no longer qualify for assisted living.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed with approval. Requirements include a copy of the pet's vaccination records, a pet deposit, and a monthly charge. Residents must be able to care for their pets, including taking them out and cleaning up after them. Typically, only smaller dogs have been accommodated.

Moving Assistance

The community does not provide movers to assist residents with moving into the facility.

Transportation Services

Transportation is available for residents, primarily for doctor's appointments, with associated fees depending on the location of the appointment.

Dining Experience

The community boasts a five-star chef who prepares all meals, offering three meals a day with a variety of options. A soup and salad bar is available at lunch, and there are special dining events such as Taste of the Town and monthly brunches for residents and their family members.

Staffing

Safety features include a locked front door after 7 p.m., the option for a Wonder Guard system, and a secure memory care unit that requires a pin code for entry. Staff also perform rounding every two hours.

Complaints are formally recorded and discussed in daily meetings. They are addressed by the relevant department and followed up by the executive director until resolution.

The facility communicates with residents' families through phone calls, event flyers, and a secure texting service for the assisted living unit. Urgent matters are communicated via phone calls.
