Overview of Staff and Training

Our community team members include Nurses, Medication Technicians, Resident Assistants, Housekeeping, Dining, Activities Staff, Maintenance, and our leadership team. All team members meet state guidelines required for their position, including background checks, health screenings, and specific certifications as required. They also receive initial and ongoing education.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Residents receive a personal emergency pendant to wear. Access to care staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The apartment features emergency response buttons and grab bars in the bathroom as well as fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

Yes, we offer a wide range of resources available to assist with our resident's transition to the community based on their specific needs.

Transportation Services

Yes, we offer scheduled transportation to doctors' appointments, outings, etc.

Dining Experience

Restaurant-style dining, 3 meals per day served in our dining room. Varied menu prepared with fresh ingredients. Daily specials as well as our always available Standard Fare Menu. Daily soup & salad options. Snacks are available throughout the day. We also host a weekly happy hour with hot hors d'oeuvres and monthly parties.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

All of our Leadership Team members have an open-door policy. Depending on their issue or complaint, they may speak with our Resident Service Director, Food Service Director, Maintenance Director, etc. Our Executive Director, Jennifer Brewer, is always available to assist residents and families as well. We also have resident comment cards for suggestions.

Cost of Living

Assisted living apartments start at $4650/month. Memory Care starts at $5100/month.

Communication with Families

Benton House uses ALIS, a cutting-edge electronic health and medication record software. ALIS allows electronic documentation of care and medication, including alerts and remote access by management and families. Families can view care plans, updates, menus, activity plans, and even photographs. Direct communication from our Resident Service Director, Nurse on Duty, or Executive Director will make families aware immediately of any incidents at the community involving their loved ones. Families are always welcome to call to check in on their loved one; we have staff available 24hrs/day ready to answer their call.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

Yes, we offer short-term respite stays starting at 14 days, $225/day all-inclusive.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. We welcome cats and dogs up to 30lbs.

Waitlist Status

It varies dependent upon your specific needs and/or wants, and on your timeline for a move. I have a waitlist for my 1BD Deluxe in Assisted Living and I have a waitlist for a private suite in Memory Care.

Vaccination Availability

Yes, we do host scheduled vaccine clinics at the community for residents who would like to receive the vaccines.

Aging in Place

Yes, residents are able to age in place.
