Nurses and CNAs for Assisted Living and Memory Care

Safety Questions

Safety questions should be directed to a Nurse or our Director of Nursing.

Transition Assistance

When residents move in, our Activity Coordinator helps them with the transition by getting them involved in activities and meeting other residents.

Each resident in Assisted Living (AL) has a care plan, with CNAs and Nurses seeing them daily to attend to their needs.

Dining Arrangements

Dining for Assisted Living is on the first floor. Dining for Memory Care is on the 4th floor in the Abby Lane community. They eat in the same area where most of their activities are held.

Meals are included in both Assisted Living (AL) and Memory Care (MC) costs.

Complaints and Concerns

Any complaints for AL and MC can go to a Nurse, our Director of Nursing, Kathy Benjamin, or directly to our Resident Director, Mahogany.

Kelsey, who works with Kathy, might also relay information.

For Memory Care, our head nurse, Cheryl, would be the one providing information about the resident.

Respite Care

We do not offer respite care or short term stays for outside residents as our Assisted Living is 100% full right now. If a current resident needs respite care to come back here, we can look to see if we can provide that.

Pet Policy

Yes, we are pet friendly. We recommend that the resident be able to properly take care of their animal, such as walking a dog or changing the litter tray for a cat.

Vaccination/Flu Shot Sessions

We offer vaccination/flu shot sessions a few times a year, usually hosted by Walgreens or Osco in our big Great Room.

Community Overview

We are an Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. We also offer in-house "At Your Service" home care for extra care needs, which are fee-based.

Hospice care is allowed in all three types of living arrangements.

We do not have Skilled Nursing. If a prospective resident requires a two-person assist for functions like dressing, showering, or going to the bathroom, we suggest looking at communities like Monarch Landing, Brookdale Lisle, Oak Trace, or St. Pats.

Wait List

The waitlist for Assisted Living could be 2-6 months. Several of our Independent Living residents are on waitlists for a "C" size studio, making it difficult to get one of those units.
