Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training

We are proud to have a diverse team of professionals at our facility, including our Administrator Alleah Patrick, a licensed nursing home administrator in Maryland, and Ciearna Mackenzie, our Director of Nursing who is a licensed registered nurse. Our team also includes an Assistant Director of Nursing, a Clinical Liaison, department heads, nurses, medicine aides, and geriatric nursing assistants, all licensed for their specific roles in Maryland. Each employee undergoes state-mandated training specific to skilled nursing and long-term care upon orientation and annually.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have implemented several measures including keypad entry doors, wander guard bracelets for at-risk residents, and 24/7 staff availability.

Support Services for Community Transition

Our social services department offers support services to aid residents wishing to transition into the community, working closely with residents and their families to identify and arrange the necessary services.

Transportation Services

While we do not offer direct transportation services, our unit clerks assist in arranging transportation for follow-up and scheduled appointments through third-party services, with costs covered by the resident or their insurance plan if applicable.

Dining Experience

Residents are offered three meals a day plus snacks, with options to dine in their room, the dining room, or the activities room. Special arrangements can be made for family members to bring food or take residents out for meals, subject to dietary restrictions and doctor’s approval.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

We have several processes in place to address resident complaints and issues, including an Ambassador assignment for leadership roles to check on assigned residents, and a concern form available on each unit for residents or families to fill out.

Cost of Living

The daily rates for living in our community are $412.00 for a Semi-Private room and $404.00 for a Three-bed ward.

Communication with Residents' Families

We keep families updated through baseline care plan meetings scheduled within 72 hours of admission and quarterly care plan meetings, with options for additional updates upon request.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer Respite, Short-, and Long-term stays with daily rates of $412.00 for a Semi-Private room and $404.00 for a Three-bed ward, depending on bed availability.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community is pet-friendly, with visits allowed upon verification of shot records, and stays subject to approval by our Administrator or Director of Nursing.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Covid vaccinations and flu vaccinations are available at our facility, with administration upon approval of the patient or their appointed decision maker.

Aging in Place

Residents are able to age in place in our community, with no current waitlist and beds available for those in need.
