FAQs
- Do you guys currently have a waitlist? No, we currently have two rooms open right now.
- Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility? We have a mixture of CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and Med Techs on staff, with a few Caregivers working to become CNAs. We also have a nurse who covers the building but is not in the home 24/7, though she comes in just about every day.
- Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? Our building is a level 2 facility with secured doors to protect our residents from wandering. The building is fully equipped with sprinklers for fire safety, and we conduct specific training on safety and procedures each month. We also have two activities coordinators who develop plans to ensure residents stay active, participate in activities, and interact with other residents.
- Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community? The size of our building, with only 20 rooms, greatly aids in the transition, making it easier to integrate with staff and residents. The key is to get the resident involved with other residents as soon as possible.
- Do you offer transportation services for residents? No, we encourage family involvement as much as possible, including having them take residents to doctor's appointments.
- Could you tell me a little about your dining experience? We encourage all residents to eat together in the dining room. With only 20 residents, meals are not overwhelming and it really becomes like a big family.
- What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed? I am in the building just about every day, as well as my administrator. We visit with our residents daily and can address any issues or complaints quickly. Residents can also put a note in the box in front of the office door.
- What is the cost of living in your community? We are all-inclusive, with no levels of care or move-in fees and extra fees. Each month you pay $4800.
- What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? I send out a monthly email and, being so small, we have a great rapport with our families when they come into the building. Amanda, my administrator, does a great job visiting with families.
- Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost? Yes, we offer short-term or respite stays. The cost varies, so please contact us for more information.
- Are you all a pet-friendly community? This depends on the pet. Please contact us to discuss further.
- Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community? Yes, vaccinations are available for residents.
- Are residents able to age in place? Yes, residents are able to age in place within our community.
