Overview of Staff and Training
Given we are a life plan community we have all levels of staff and professionals on site. They have their professional certification training as well as regular in-service training here at the community.
Safety and Well-being Measures
The higher the level of care the more measures are put in place. In independent living, it is simply a daily wellness check along with giving them an emergency pendant they can wear.
Transition Support Services
Yes, we offer 8 hours of a transition coordinator that can help manage the move, placement of furniture, and help settling into their new home.
Transportation Services
Yes, residents can make reservations to go anywhere within 10 miles.
Dining Experience
Independent residents manage their own dining credit balance. We have 2 dining venues and all apartments have full kitchens. So they are in charge of when they eat, where they eat, what they eat, and with whom they eat. In the higher levels of care, there is more supervision and dietary management.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can go to our Resident Services Manager or directly to our Executive Director. Residents may also choose to engage the Resident Advisory Board who meet directly with leadership and the board of directors.
Cost of Living

Communication with Residents' Families
Families who choose to be, are closely involved with our care processes. The higher the level of care or more acute the emergency will determine the frequency of our communication to the family. Typically, we work directly with the resident to meet their needs in a way they find most compatible.
Short-term or Respite Stays
No, we don’t offer this service to those who are not residents in our community.
Pet Policy
Yes, however we have a very comprehensive pet policy and the pets have to be approved by leadership. We do have an active waiting list of about 140 folks, however we also have some limited current availability.
Waiting List and Availability
Most folks on our waiting list are there because they know when they are ready they want to move here, but for now – they just aren’t ready yet.
