Staffing and Neighborhoods

Each neighborhood has 1 CNA, 1 CMA, and 1 hospitality aid during busy daytime hours. As the evening approaches, staffing levels reduce to 2 staff, and then later to 1 staff on each neighborhood until morning. There are 3 assisted living neighborhoods and 1 Memory support neighborhood, each with 12 apartments, ensuring a small and intimate setting. Two nurses are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Residents requiring 24/7 nursing care may need higher skilled care or a nursing home. Our staff are fully qualified with the appropriate degrees.

Security and Access

Doors are locked at 5:30 PM. Family members have a pass to enter when doors are locked, while others can ring a doorbell to be let in by staff.

Transition Services and Transportation

No official transition services are offered, though staff are always available to provide attention, answer questions, and help residents feel comfortable. We do not offer transportation services, but residents can participate in outings organized by our activity department, including shopping, dining out, and visiting attractions.

Dining

Each neighborhood has its own dining room and kitchen, allowing for meals in a cozy setting among neighbors. Lunch and supper are prepared by our professional chef and team in a professional kitchen and then brought to each neighborhood's kitchen. Breakfast is available anytime, made to order in the dining room.

Addressing Problems

Problems can be addressed with either the staff member involved or the administrator. Our lease agreement and the HIPAA booklet provide phone numbers for external complaints.

Communication and Monitoring

Nurses continuously monitor all residents and communicate with families as needed. It's important to note that our facility is for assisted living, which may not be suitable for those requiring higher levels of care or constant supervision.

Respite Stays and Pets

No respite type stays are offered, and pets are not allowed to live on the premises. However, pets may visit on a leash but cannot stay.

Health Services

We offer both COVID vaccinations and flu shots when clinics are scheduled on our property, typically once a year.

Aging in Place

Residents may age in place up to a certain point. If a resident's care level becomes too high for an extended period, they may need to seek higher care.

Please note that policies regarding respite care and pets may vary at other properties.
