Overview of Professional Staff and Training

Our team comprises a Housing Director with a Licensed Assisted Living Director license and 7 years of experience serving the elderly population. Our Director of Nursing brings over 37 years of nursing experience. Each shift features a nursing assistant trained by our nurse upon their start, with our full-time day and evening nursing assistants boasting over 10 and 15 years of experience, respectively. We ensure continuous education for all staff through monthly online training, focusing on dementia and senior living.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We maintain a locked facility 24/7, with each apartment equipped with two pull cords for assistance—one in the bedroom and another in the bathroom. A nurse is available around the clock to meet the residents' needs.

Transition Support Services

While we lack a dedicated social service director, we collaborate with our attached TCU/nursing home for referral sources like relocation services through Hennepin County for Elderly Waiver recipients. Currently, we have openings for private pay residents but none for waiver recipients.

Transportation Services

Our residents enjoy outings on Tuesdays to various shopping centers and special events, courtesy of our bus service.

Dining Experience

We provide three meals a day, with two served restaurant-style in our dining room and a hot boxed dinner for supper upon request.

Complaint Resolution Process

Our grievance procedure ensures diligent follow-up on all complaints, including investigations and interviews led by myself, and surveillance review when necessary.

Communication with Residents' Families

Communication with families is maintained at least monthly following our resident meeting and as incidents occur, ensuring they are updated on their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

While not our primary setup, we can accommodate respite or short-term stays if the resident is a good fit for our community.

Pet-Friendly Community

We welcome both cats and dogs with a non-refundable deposit.

Waitlist Information

Currently, we have a waitlist only for studio apartments, with one and two-bedroom units available.

Vaccination Services

We provide Covid and flu vaccinations for our residents.

Aging in Place

Our facility is attached to a TCU/Long term care facility for residents whose needs we can no longer meet. We also refer residents to our sister property in Minnetonka for dementia care.
