About Atria
Atria is an industry leader in recruitment and staff training, with the requirement that all professional staff be licensed or certified in their field. Additionally, Atria requires all employees to complete specific training that covers company policy as it relates to safety, interpersonal relations, security, ethics, discrimination, and additional topics too numerous to list. Training is ongoing with monthly requirements and specific deadlines for completion.
Resident Safety
Resident safety is a priority in Atria communities. Each person wears an emergency alert device to signal for immediate assistance...it's waterproof so we implore people to keep it on in the shower. Bathrooms are designed with safety in mind with handrails, walk-in showers, and an ample bench for comfort. The entire building is designed for comfort with seating areas at convenient intervals, so people can confidently know they'll have a spot to perch when they need a break. Our outside living space has wonderful seating as well, with sidewalks maintained for smooth gliding to encourage strolling outdoors. Naturally, our main entrance is monitored by a concierge, other doors have a coded entry. The entire building is protected by a central fire station alarm, we have regular fire drills so we can all practice our role in an emergency. We have cameras outside the building which cover our grounds and perimeter, as well as cameras in the public areas of the building and interior hallways.
Welcoming New Residents
Both staff and Resident Ambassadors work to welcome new residents to our community. We intentionally introduce newcomers to residents with whom we feel they have something in common, and seat them in the dining room with people we think they'll enjoy sharing a meal with. Dining is a social opportunity we do not want to underestimate. It's intimate, no tables larger than four, each person orders from a menu that highlights two entrees at lunch and dinner. The menu is extended by a selection of cooked to order, always available options that include soup, sandwiches, salads, a cheeseburger, and other light selections. Dining hours are 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
Transportation and Administrative Support
We do offer transportation to residents; the cost is included in the rent. People can approach our administrative staff with needs or issues. Also, we have monthly Resident Council meetings which provide an opportunity to voice concerns.
Costs and Accommodations
Please refer to the website for apartment costs and floorplans.
We do offer short-term stays. People can register for a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 45 days at a cost of $129 per day plus care which would be identified at the time of nursing assessment. Our short-term stay apartment is occupied at this time and is managed on a reservation basis, like booking a hotel room.
Additional Services and Policies
To summarize your last queries, we are pet friendly, we have availability depending on specific floor plans. Our residents can receive flu shots and COVID vaccine in the community. They can age in place as we offer six levels of personal care. Nursing assessments are central to identifying needs and determining whether they can be met in our setting in compliance with our license and regulations. We have availability in this community.
