Effective October 1, 2023, Aston Park Health Care Center will implement a rate adjustment for the coming year. The proposed new room rates are listed below.
If you are a Medicaid resident, these rates will not affect what you have to pay. That amount is determined by the Department of Social Services.

Overview on Types of Professionals on Staff and Training
We are a SNF, so we always have an RN on staff at all times. We also have CNAs and facility aids. In terms of therapy, we have speech, occupational, and physical therapists. We also have a social services director, and I am a social worker as well. Our staff is trained specifically in handling Dementia/Alzheimer’s residents, since that is our specialty.Measures to Ensure Safety and Well-Being of Residents

We have two dining rooms. One is for the majority of the facility and the other has staff members in there for the residents that need assistance eating.Process for Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues
As part of our morning meeting every day, we reserve space to discuss if there are any concerns from family or residents that need to be addressed. Depending on the issue, it is usually handled by the department head or the administrator. There is also a resident council meeting monthly where residents are able to address any concerns.Policy on Communication with Residents' Families
We have quarterly care plan meetings with our team and the families. One is also held around a week after placement.Short-Term or Respite Stays and Cost
Yes, we offer respite if we have the availability to do so. The cost is $273 a day and would be in a semi-private room. The family must provide the medications for their loved one as well.Pet-Friendly Policy
