Independent Living Costs

Independent living starts at $3195 per month for a 1 bedroom and $3595 for a 2 bedroom, second person is $225 and includes the following:

  • 1 meal a day at lunchtime
  • Housekeeping twice a month
  • Heat, water and cable
  • Activities and outings
  • Storage locker
  • Heated underground parking

Assisted Living Costs

Base rate for assisted living starts at $5495 per month and second person is $1020. Base level care includes:

  • 7 hours of care per week
  • 3 meals a day
  • Housekeeping weekly
  • Laundry weekly
  • Daily activities and outings
  • An emergency call button with 24 access to our staff
  • Heat, water, electric and cable

There are 3 additional levels of care as follows:

  • 7-14 hours of care $500
  • 14-21 hours of care $900
  • 21-28 hours of care $1300

Enhanced Care

Enhanced care starts at $5795 per month and second person is $1500 and includes:

  • All of the base assisted living services
  • Med management
  • Bathing, dressing, grooming
  • 2 hour checks
  • Incontinence products and paper products

There are a total of 6 levels of care available ranging from:

  • Level 1 included
  • Level 2 $800
  • Level 3 $1200
  • Level 4 $1600
  • Level 5 $2000
  • Level 6 $2500

Memory Care

Memory Care starts at $6095 and has the same levels of care as enhanced care.

Continuum of Care at Aspire

We have a full continuum of care at Aspire. Independent living, assisted living, enhanced assisted living and memory care.

Staffing

The staffing in our assisted livings and memory care include one registered nurse, who is our Director of nursing four LPNs two of which are assistant directors of nursing. We also have certified medication, pastors, CNA’s and caregivers there is a required on a yearly basis that includes first aid, fire safety, medication management, dementia training, and many other courses. we also offer a program to our caregivers where we will pay for them to get their CNA certification.

Security and Accessibility

We have 24 hour staff in the building and our doors are locked from 6 o’clock at night until 8 o’clock in the morning, residents do have a fob which will get them in the door after those hours. There is also a ring type doorbell for visitors who want to come in after the building has been locked so that they can be admitted by the staff.

Activities and Lifestyle

We offer an extensive activity program with exercise classes, water, exercise, class, chair, yoga, entertainment, and happy hour, movie, theater and fitness center. We also have card games, trivia, Jeopardy, ladies, club, men’s club, religious services, and many other stimulating activities.

When somebody moves into the community, we have a getting to know you form that we have them or the family fill out so that we can learn a little bit more about their interest and specifically try to encourage them to participate in the different types of activities that would be of interest to them. We have four people in our life enrichment department and they will go and gather people up for the activities so that people don’t feel awkward about coming.

Transportation

We do have a bus that is used for weekly, shopping trips and weekly outings. We do not offer transportation for other types of appointments however, there are a number of different agencies that do offer handicapped accessible transportation at a very reasonable cost.

Communication and Feedback

If a resident has a complaint or an issue that they want to address when they move in we give them a list of all the department heads and their phone numbers so that depending on what their concerns are, they can reach out directly to the right person such as the executive Director or if it’s a Care concern the Director of nursing. we also have monthly resident council meetings, where the residents are able to air any concerns, complaints, or compliments.

Dining Experience

We offer restaurant style dining, independent, living residence get one meal a day, which is the large meal served at lunchtime. Any other area three meals a day are included. At lunchtime there are two hot choices or always available things such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chef, salad, grilled chicken sandwich. Breakfast is a hot meal but we also have cereal or oatmeal available. Dinner is also another hot meal, and the food in our building is excellent prepared by our executive chef and his staff.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community depends on the area that the person is in and also the size of the apartment. Independent living starts at $3195 a month assisted living starts at $5495 a month Enhanced care starts at $5795 a month and memory care starts at $6095 a month. There are also additional levels of care in all of the assisted living areas based on an individualized care plan, determined at the time of assessment.

Communication Policy

The policy on communication with the residence family would depend on whether the resident is still their own person or if their power of attorney has been activated or if there’s a guardianship in place. If they are still their own person, they would have to give us permission to speak to the family. If we have that consent, then nursing would reach out with any concerns or updates based on each individuals case.

Respite Stays and Availability

We currently are not offering short term respite stays, as we are full with a waitlist in all areas, except for a couple of studios that are available in memory care. when we did have availability, our respite rates started at $250 a day plus level of care.

Pet Policy

We are a pet friendly community. The resident must be able to care for their own pet, and there is an additional security deposit included and monthly rent amount for the pet.

Current Availability

As I mentioned, we are full at this time in all areas except for memory care where I do have a couple of studio apartments available at this moment.
