Our community is supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including our registered nurse, LPN, Medication Techs and Caregivers. Each staff member undergoes comprehensive training in senior care, safety protocols, and emergency response, along with continuing education to ensure they are up to date on the latest practices.
Safety and Well-being Measures
The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority. We have a 24/7 security system, emergency response plans, regular wellness checks, and a well-trained staff on-site always. We also have strict protocols for infection control, including measures to manage outbreaks of illnesses like the flu or COVID-19.
Transition Resources and Support
Yes, we offer a range of resources to help new residents transition smoothly into the community. This includes orientation sessions, personalized care plans, and dedicated staff to support both the resident and their family during the adjustment period.
Transportation Services
We do provide transportation services for residents, both for medical appointments and recreational outings. For any medical appointments we can transport Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9AM to 4PM. Our transportation is scheduled in advance to ensure that residents have timely and safe access to their destinations.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience focuses on providing nutritious, well-balanced meals with a variety of options tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences. Meals are served in a communal setting, and residents have input on menu choices.
Handling Resident Complaints or Issues
If a resident has a concern or complaint, they can bring it to any staff member, who will ensure that it is escalated to the appropriate team. We have a clear protocol to address issues promptly and ensure a resolution that meets the resident’s needs. We have an open-door policy and are open to any care conferences needing to be held by family or resident.
Communication with Families
We prioritize open communication with residents' families. Families receive regular updates through meetings, phone calls, and emails. We do quarterly assessments to ensure you are aware of the care that is being provided to your loved one and notify you of any changes in care that we see.
At our community we all play a part in care for a loved one which means family, clinical as well as admin staff. When we see changes, we say something and since we are all part of a care team, we all work together in terms of care planning for each of our residents.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, we offer short-term or respite stays. The cost varies depending on the length of stay and care level required, but we are happy to provide specific pricing upon request.
Pet-Friendly Policy
We are a pet-friendly community! Residents are welcome to bring their pets, though certain guidelines must be followed to ensure the comfort and safety of all residents. We do allow residents to have dogs under 25lbs if the resident can care for the pet. At this moment we do not allow cats due to allergies however cats are welcome to visit if the shots are up to date and a copy has been given to our office for a resident's file.
Waitlist Status
Currently, we do have a waitlist, but availability changes regularly. We encourage prospective residents to inquire early. At this time, we do have openings, and our waitlist folks aren’t ready to move out of their home yet.
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations
Yes, we offer both COVID-19 and flu vaccinations to our residents, administered by a vaccine clinic we hold in house each flu season.
Aging in Place
We care for those who are completely independent all the way to bed bound and Hospice care. Our community is designed to allow residents to age in place, with care services that adjust to their changing needs.
