Overview of Professionals and Training

We have Certified Nursing Assistance's, Medical Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, and a Nurse Practitioner who comes once a week to write prescriptions and is utilized as a rounding physician.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We use key fobs for entry and our door locks at 8:00 PM for safety; only resident keys work after that. We also have call bell pendants for direct access to our 24 on-site licensed nurses.

Resources and Support Services for Transition

We have two programs to aid residents' transition into the community. One is a 30-day acclimation process called our "wow program," and the other is "care impact" to help your loved one transition, priced at $30.00 an hour.

Transportation Services

We take our residents on outings and grocery shopping weekly. We also provide transportation two days a week for doctor appointments.

Dining Experience

Come as you are, sit where you please, and service comes to you! Our dining experience includes two hours for breakfast, two hours for lunch, and three hours for dinner, prepared by an executive chef with 50% of the food made from scratch, courtesy of our Taste of RUI department.

Complaint Resolution Process

Residents would need to address any complaints to the appropriate director, and our team would investigate and come up with a resolution that both parties agree upon.

Communication with Families

The policy on communication with residents' families depends on whether the resident is independent or has a power of attorney. We also use a responsible party and contact the family for hospital sends, falls, etc.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays depending on the situation and availability, usually costing between $10,000 and $11,000 a month.

Pet-friendly Community

Correct, we also offer a program called "leash on life" for residents who can't cognitively take care of pets (cats and dogs).

Availability and Waitlist

We have a waitlist for particular room types, but currently, we have 5 rooms open.

Vaccination Availability

We may not conduct another COVID clinic, but flu shots are available as they will come here.

Aging in Place Policy

We are an age-in-place concept with no huge buy-in and a month-to-month lease.
