HOW ARE ASSISTED LIVING RATES CALCULATED?

Rates for active assisted living are based on which apartment you or your loved one select. Active Assisted Living offers studio and one-bedroom floorplans to choose from. There is no care level in active assisted living. Three meals each day, basic utilities, housekeeping and more are all included in you or your loved one’s monthly rent.

Rates for assisted living are based on two parts. The first is a room and board rate based on the apartment style you select. The second is a care level fee based on the resident’s specific care needs. You’ll find more information on both fees below.

Prior to moving in, our caregiving team will perform a health assessment for each new resident. During the care assessment, the team will assess the resident to determine what needs they may have and collaborate with the resident and their family to develop a care plan based upon the information gathered from the assessment and the resident. Based on the agreed upon care plan, a care level and fee will be determined. All care plans are routinely evaluated which may adjust the fee from time to time.

MEMORY CARE

HOW ARE MEMORY CARE RATES CALCULATED?

Memory care is designed specifically for seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Memory care rates listed below include care, lodging, three meals a day and other services.**

A second person can stay in a memory care apartment. The second person fee does not include care services. Should the second person require care or memory support, additional fees may be incurred.

RESPITE OR SHORT-TERM STAYS

Starting at $325 /day*
Respite (or short-term) stays allows caregivers to receive a much- needed break. Respite stays are limited by apartment availability, so please contact our team to confirm your short-stay.

The resident room rate provides a private room, meals, housekeeping, laundry, activities, social services, maintenance, and basic nursing care.
There is a $300.00 non-refundable admission fee for residents coming into the facility on a private pay basis. This includes transfers from the Medicare Part A skilled or post-acute program.

We have a continuum of care here at Arrowhead Senior Living with Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Rehabilitation and a Long-Term Care nursing facility. We are owned by Midwest Health- a family-owned business that cares about helping people to get the care they need.

Active Assisted Living

We have typical assisted living apartments but recently made one of our floors Active Assisted Living for seniors who need little to no assistance but want to be involved in the life of our community.
