WHY ARDEN COURTS?

Over 25 years ago, we developed the design and layout of our home-like community. Our specialized daily programming, secure walking paths and courtyards allow residents to explore and be as active as they would like.

Arden Courts provides a unique approach to caregiving and was created to help people with memory loss enjoy residential living, while receiving the professional assistance they need 24-hours a day.

ARDEN COURTS DESIGN

• The layout is residential by design.
• There are visual cues to help maintain independence.
• The community is organized into four separate “houses”; with each having its own living room, dining room, kitchen, bath and laundry.
• Community areas provide additional space for events, mingling, exercise fun.
• Our enclosed, spacious courtyards offer safe walking paths, gardening opportunities and seating areas.

OUR EMPLOYEES MAKE IT POSSIBLE

A community like Arden Courts takes very special people to make it happen. Our employees receive ongoing, extensive training and education on the disease process and its management. They partner with medical professionals and family members to provide personalized care and opportunities for residents to engage and socialize through individual pursuits, group programming, Engagement Therapy Treatment®, and Namaste care. They also assist with personal care and activities of daily living, and prepare and serve family-style meals and snacks.

FAMILY SUPPORT

After a family member has been diagnosed with a brain impairment such as Alzheimer’s or a related dementia, the lives of that individual, their friends and family members are forever changed. We support families by providing education about the disease, its symptoms and treatment and care planning. We also offer support groups and opportunities to meet others who share similar experiences.

PERSONALIZED CARE

A customize service/care plan is developed for each resident. Employees work together with family members and residents to implement the personalized plan and adjust as necessary. We concentrate on the programs and life skills that best meet our residents’ uniques needs – promoting their sense of independence and individuality, their health and spiritual well-being.

INVOLVEMENT

Providing the best care possible requires the involvement of Arden Courts employees, health care professionals, residents and their family members and friends. Activities like, family nights and dinners, themed events, cultural and religious celebrations, support groups and educational seminars are designed to encourage involvement and interaction.
