Private and Shared Accommodations

We have furnished private and shared accommodations for an easy transition. Currently, the monthly all-inclusive rent is $8965.00 for a private furnished accommodation.

Overview of Professional Staff and Training

We have a Director of Nursing who is an RN, a former army medic, and has extensive experience in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. We have 24-hour RN/LPN on staff in the building. Certified Nurses Aides receive specific Dementia training and undergo thorough screening, including background and drug testing. All we do is care for residents with some type of Dementia; all staff are specially trained for this purpose.

Measures for Ensuring Resident Safety and Well-being

We conduct hourly checks for all residents inside the community, including night-time checks, and 15-minute checks for residents in our secure yard. The building is secure to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

Support Services for Resident Transition

We guide family members on how to communicate with their loved ones about coming to our community and ensure a smooth transition for new residents entering the community.

Transportation Services

While we do not provide transportation for our residents, we offer suggestions for families in need of transport. Additionally, we have visiting physicians, psychiatrists, podiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, a hair stylist, and Hospice services, ensuring residents don't have to leave the community for these services.

Dining Experience

Our chef has been with us for 14 years. We accommodate all dietary modifications and offer numerous substitutions for residents who may not prefer certain types of food.

Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues

Our Executive Director, Kim Oliver, works directly with families to resolve any issues or complaints that arise.

Communication with Resident's Families

We maintain excellent communication between our families and staff. Families can easily receive updates by phoning or emailing our Nursing staff members.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays ranging from a minimum of 5 days up to 30 days. The cost is all-inclusive at $300.00 per day.

Pet-friendly Community

We are a pet-friendly community and welcome visiting pets. I often bring my little dog to visit.

Availability of Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, we do vaccinate residents when vaccinations are available.

Aging in Place

We offer Hospice services when appropriate. In Connecticut, assisted living is private pay, so as long as a resident has funds, they can age in place here. Note that we do not offer skilled care involving intravenous feeding, feeding tubes, or tracheostomies.

We have been caring for residents with Memory Care for 28 years at this location, focusing solely on Memory Care. We receive many wonderful reviews on Google from families who constantly refer new families to us. Currently, we do not have a wait list and have availability for private accommodations.
