Overview of Staff and Training

At Kerner Ridge, we have CNAs and MedTechs. We also have a full-time nurse. All team members undergo yearly dementia training along with basic first aid. At Arbor Ridge, we have one CNA on staff around the clock in case of emergencies. Our team members undergo basic first aid training.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

At Kerner Ridge, residents are assessed and assigned a level of care that determines their safety checks. At Arbor Ridge, residents are checked on if they don't come down to a meal.

Support Services for Transition

At each community, we pair new residents with a current resident who serves as an ambassador for the community.

Transportation Services

Yes, we provide transportation for medical appointments. Kerner Ridge is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Arbor Ridge is Monday through Thursday.

Dining Experience

At each community, residents have multiple meal options and can complete a meal ticket to make their choices. Kerner Ridge offers special diets like no sugar added, chopped, pureed, etc.

Complaint Resolution Process

At each community, residents have a monthly resident council meeting where they can voice their grievances. Each community has an executive director who will handle all complaints.

Family Communication Policy

At each community, we send out an email with updates and events. When a resident has a health concern or an emergency, we call families.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

Kerner Ridge offers a respite stay for $200 a day with a 30-day requirement. Arbor Ridge does not offer respite stays.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Each community is pet-friendly, but the resident has to maintain the care of the pet, and pets are not allowed in common areas.

Waitlist Information

Arbor Ridge is currently on a waitlist, with one bedroom available at the moment. For all other floor plans, we are on a waitlist. Kerner Ridge does not have a waitlist for assisted living but does so for memory care.

Vaccination Availability

We offer flu and COVID clinics at each community.

Aging in Place

Arbor Ridge at Kernersville offers home care services to allow residents to age in place. Kerner Ridge has assisted living and memory care, enabling residents to transition to a higher level of care. We also offer home health and hospice services to allow residents to stay in place longer.
