Assisted Living and Memory Support Medical Team

In our Assisted Living and Memory Support we have a full medical team including CNAs, CMTs, LPNs, and a Director of Health & Wellness that is an RN. We also have an in-house physician for our residents if they choose to see him. We also have a podiatrist that comes about every 3 months. There are no medical staff in our Independent Living as we are not medically licensed there however, we do have a concierge program with an in-home care agency that can offer light assistance. For example, this may a medication reminder, an escort to the dining room, or a standby shower.

Safety and Staffing

All of our residents across all 3 disciplines receive pendants when they arrive and also have emergency pull stations in the apartment and bathrooms should they need assistance there as well. We are staffed at the community 24/7/365.

New Resident Orientation

When we have a new resident that moves into the community, I assist with guiding them through their first few days at the community. This includes escorting down the dining area and activities, introducing them to our current residents, and touring them throughout the community as well. Prior to the physical move in, we do have movers we work with that can assist families if they choose to use them.

Transportation Services

We do provide transportation services for our residents. We offer transportation to doctor’s appointments on Tuesdays & Thursdays within a 15-mile radius of our community. We do a weekly errands trip if they need to stop at a local grocery store, convenience store, or bank. We also do frequent outings and trips around the area.

Dining Services

All 3 meals are included in the rental rate across all 3 disciplines. Breakfast is 7:30AM-9:30AM, lunch is 12:30PM-1:30PM and dinner 5:00PM-6:00PM. We do have assigned seating in our dining rooms (all 3 disciplines are separate). We do have 2 hydration stations throughout the community that are stocked with water/juice and muffins or danish. They are replenished after breakfast and lunch and available anytime a resident would like a quick drink or snack. We do have room service available as well, if a resident is sick or there is a medical exemption it is complimentary however if a resident is choosing not to attend a meal it is a $6 charge per meal.

Grievance Handling

If there are any grievances a resident or family has with the community, first our department head would work to rectify the issue, if that is not successful our Executive Director would work to rectify the issue. All grievances are handled internally.

Cost of Living

The cost of our community varies based of the discipline of care and style of apartment. In our Independent Living, we offer studios starting at $3100, 1-bedrooms starting at $4050, and 2-bedrooms starting at $4770. There is a 2nd occupant fee of $900/month in the Independent Living. In our Assisted Living, we offer studios at $3860 + care costs and only have a single 1-bedroom apartment which is $5200 + care costs. There is a 2nd occupant fee of $1100/month in the Assisted Living. In Memory Support, we only have studio style apartments and they start at $4495 + care costs. Our community determined care costs through an assessment with our Director of Health & Wellness. We use customized care pricing with a price per point scale. A point is $24 and are based on the type of care service a resident is receiving, the length of time the service is required, and the staff required for the service. We have a one-time community fee of $3000. Cable is $28 with Cox Cable.

Family Communication

Our Executive Director communicates with families all major news, happenings, or concerns they may have. Our Resident Engagement Director communicates with families on all community events we are having so a family may attend if they choose. In the Assisted Living and Memory Support, our Director of Health & Wellness communities with families on their loved one’s health and condition.

Respite Stays

We will offer respite stays if we have the availability. It is a 30-day minimum stay and can go for a maximum of 90-days. The family would have to provide their own furniture. The cost remains the same based on the type of apartment and discipline of care, we would not charge the community fee on a respite stay.

Pet Policy

We only accept pets in the Independent Living at our community. We have a one-time pet fee of $250 and we require the pet’s vaccination records upon entry to the community. The resident and family must be able to care entirely for the pet, our staff will not provide any care. The pet must also be on a leash and accompanied by the owner anytime it is outside of the apartment.

Availability and Rates

We have limited availability across all 3 disciplines at our community. In our Memory Support, currently we only have 1 apartment available and the rate for that apartment is $4900 + care costs.
