At this time there is not a waitlist; however, it does depend on need and bed availability.
Pricing and General Information
Our rates vary based on need (please see attached).
Staff and Training
All of our staff have the qualifications required for their positions. In addition, Altercare hosts monthly inservices and trainings to keep us abreast of the needs/requirements within the healthcare industry of today.
Safety and Well-being Measures
All residents' needs, from emotional, physical, and psychological, are managed by professionally trained staff and reviewed on a quarterly basis or anytime there is a change in condition.
Transition Resources and Support Services
Absolutely; our therapy team will offer home visits to ensure safety devices are in place prior to discharge, and we also work with area home care agencies, hospices, and the Medicaid waiver program to ensure a safe discharge is in place.
Transportation Services
Unfortunately, we do not have onsite transportation; however, we do work with local bus and a couple of private transportation companies to ensure the needs of residents are met.
Dining Experience
Residents are encouraged to eat in the main dining room; while there is a main entrée meal, residents are able to choose from a substitution list. Snacks are always readily available as well. We also have a dietician onsite that reviews residents' medical charts to ensure nutritional needs are met.
Complaint and Issue Resolution
We have a grievance process that we follow to ensure any issues are addressed and resolved. We have an open door policy and welcome any opportunities for improvement/concern to be shared.
Communication with Residents' Families
Residents or activated DPOAs/Guardians are informed of any changes specific to the resident and or facility via phone, email, or letter depending on request.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer respite; it is the same daily rate as what is indicated on the price sheet. We still need to have the paperwork completed as if the person was planning to stay on a long-term basis for short-term stays.
Pet Policy
There is a pet policy, and pets can visit as long as they are deemed appropriate for the facility and a copy of current shots/vet record is on file.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Absolutely, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.
Aging in Place
Absolutely, as long as we can safely meet the need of the resident; we also work with Hospice Programs.
